Rick Todd is the Senior Pastor of Christ Evangelical Church.  Raised in Bellingham, Washington, Rick graduated from Western Washington University and lives with his wife, Teresa, and their three children in rural Whatcom County.

Rick has been in the ministry for approximately 18 years. He has a heart and passion for ministry and worship and is one of the most energetic and down-to-earth people you will meet. His messages are infused with the Word of God, humility, and humor. Outside of church, Rick’s interests include sports, sports, and more sports. When he’s not involved in coaching and watching his own children play a wide variety of sports, he is an avid WWU Vikings, Bellingham Bulldogs, Seattle Mariners, Seattle Seahawks, and (former) Seattle Sonics fan (it truly was a sad day for Rick when the Sonics left Seattle). In addition, he is very involved in his community and the local schools.

Rob Brower is the Youth Pastor of Christ Evangelical Church.  Rob lives in North Bellingham with his wife, Daina, and his two children Meghan and Trey.

Rob has served in ministry and as staff member at New Horizon and is excited to begin this new chapter to which God has called him.  Rob is passionate about helping youth enter into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.  When he's not having fun acting half his age while hanging out with teenagers, Rob enjoys rooting for the Seattle Seahawks from either a seat in the stadium or in his own living room.  He also enjoys listening to music, watching awesome action films, practicing Martial Arts, playing with his kids, taking long walks on the beach and playing Words with Friends.

Alongside the Senior Pastor serves the Church Council which is made up of no less than five church members, serving terms of one to three years. The Senior Pastor is automatically a member and Chairperson of the Church Council. The Church Council is responsible for shaping the direction of Christ Evangelical Church and ensuring that the annual budgetary, outreach and mission goals are met.
