Christ Evangelical Church is a place of...

Hope
We have a message of hope. It’s our desire that every week at NHCC we are energized and encouraged by the principles and truths shared from God’s word. The hope is that God loves us and cares for us and always has our best interests in mind.

Heartfelt Worship
We have a passion to see God’s people worshipping Him in spirit and truth. We are worshippers and we truly believe that when Believers and non-believers are confronted with the presence of the Living God they will be changed forever.

Honesty
We want NHCC to be place where honesty rules. We know that God lives in the truth and the enemy lives in half-truths and lies. We believe that it’s God’s will for us to live in the truth and live our lives accordingly to His unchanging Word.

Healing
Many of us feel weary, bruised and bloodied living in a world that just plain brutal at times. It’s our hope that NHCC will be a place of healing and restoration. The bible calls Jesus “the great physician” and we believe He can bring emotional, relational and physical healing when we ask Him.

Help
Living the Christian life can be like climbing Mount Everest. Very few people have attempted to climb Mount Everest alone and lived to tell about it. Likewise, in living the Christian life the bottom line is we need each other. Our hope is that people will find that NHCC is a place where help can be found.

Hospitality
It’s our desire that every person who comes through the door at NHCC is greeted with a warm smile, a handshake and a kind word. Building community is a priority at NHCC and it’s our hope that the spirit of hospitality will be a catalyst in fostering meaningful relationships and friendships among us.

Humor
Can you really laugh in church? You bet, and we hope this Church does a lot of it. Laughter can break down walls and can be medicine for the soul. Please don’t get us wrong. We believe there is a time to be very serious and reverent and it’s truly our goal to have a balance in this area. However if we take ourselves too seriously, this isn’t going to be any fun and we’ll let you in on a little secret- we want to have fun!
